West Kowloon Cultural District records 150,000 visitors in two days

The West Kowloon Cultural District announced on Thursday that it has recorded 150,000 visitors since Christmas Eve.

The district hosted the Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics show at the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade for three consecutive days, starting from Christmas Eve. The event attracted more than 150,000 people to the West Kowloon Art Park on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to celebrate the festive season.

For the final day of the Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics tonight, the district will continue to implement crowd safety management measures. 

The police may also enforce one-way crowd management measures on the flyover connecting Kowloon Station and the West Kowloon Cultural District, depending on the situation.

Visitors to the West Kowloon Art Park are advised to enter through the E4 and E5 exits of Kowloon Station. 

The West Kowloon Cultural District encourages the public to use public transportation as much as possible, plan their itinerary, follow on-site traffic instructions, and avoid driving to the Cultural District.
