The first five numbers drawn were 20, 52, 68, 24, and 19, while the sixth to tenth numbers were 84, 06, 67, 34, and 09. Applicants will determine the order of flat selection based on the last two digits of their application number.
The Housing Authority received over 78,000 applications for White Forms and more than 26,000 for Green Forms, with family and single-person applicants accounting for about half each.
Applications were oversubscribed by about 14 times, marking the lowest level of demand in the seven years since the redevelopment of Home Ownership Scheme housing units.
Cleresa Wong Pie-yue, Chairman of the Subsidised Housing Committee of the Housing Authority, noted that although the subscription figure was lower than in recent years, it was not considered "very low." She emphasized that the five housing estates are located in various districts with good community facilities, which continue to make them popular.
She also mentioned that in the past, some applicants had forfeited deposits due to personal factors and economic conditions, but these instances cannot be generalized.
This round of applications offers a total of 7,132 flats located in Kai Ying Court in Kai Tak, Ko Hei Court in Yau Tong, On Pak Court in Kwun Tong, Yu Hing Court in Tung Chung, and Siu Wu Court in Tuen Mun. The flats have usable areas ranging from 186 to 510 square feet.
