To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the National Day, the Wan Chai Watershow Extravaganza, organized by Blue Planet Action, will take place at the Water Sports and Recreation Precinct in Wan Chai on October 18 and 19. This event marks the first large-scale water show in Hong Kong.
The show will dazzle attendees with water fountains, light shows, and music. One highlight includes rockets transforming into dragons, which will then make a journey through various iconic scenes of China and Hong Kong, before culminating to a phoenix in order to shower blessings for the country's 75th anniversary.
Additionally, the site will feature over 10 free game stalls, offering family-friendly activities and an opportunity to explore traditional Chinese crafts. Ticket holders can participate in at least three experiences to earn a gift.
The main stage will host a variety of performances. During the opening ceremony, notable singers such as Karen Kong and Gabriel Harrison will perform. The following day will feature performances by the singing group Sing's Power, among others.
Throughout the two-day event, the Wan Chai District will showcase community performance groups engaging in various singing and dancing acts. Blue Planet Action is also extending invitations to more entertainers and symphonies to participate.
Tickets are available for registration on the Blue Planet Action Facebook page or can be collected at the Wan Chai Home Affairs Enquiry Centre starting October 14. A total of 3,000 tickets will be distributed for free by the organizer and government departments through online registration, with an additional 600 tickets available at the on-site registration office.
For more details, citizens are encouraged to stay updated with the latest announcements from Blue Planet Action.
