An Uber driver lost consciousness early Monday morning while driving in Sai Wan, leading his passengers to seek assistance from a nearby gas station.

The incident occurred around 2 am today as the driver was navigating his sedan along Connaught Road West towards the Hong Kong Island entrance of the Western Harbour Crossing.
During the drive, he suddenly felt unwell and managed to pull the car over near the gas station at Water Street. He was attempting to exit the vehicle to rest when he lost consciousness.
The two female passengers, who were being transported from Lan Kwai Fong to the airport, quickly sought help.
They ran to a nearby gas station, where the staff assisted them in calling the police.
Paramedics arrived promptly at the scene. The unconscious driver was then transported to Queen Mary Hospital for emergency treatment.
The police are investigating the cause of the incident.
