The car then sped off towards the Kwai Chung section of Castle Peak Road.
Upon receiving the report, police officers arrived at the scene and located the sedan involved on Ching Cheung Road in Cheung Sha Wan. Law was found inside the car, and three men were subsequently arrested.
Among the detainees, a 30-year-old man named Cheung was suspected of stealing three mobile phones from others. He was arrested on charges of false imprisonment, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and theft.
Two other men, Wu and Fan, both 22 years old, were arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Sources suggest that the incident stemmed from a financial dispute between Law and Cheung.
The case has been transferred to the Sham Shui Po Police District for further investigation, and police are currently searching for seven to nine additional suspects involved in the crime.
During the incident, Law sustained injuries to his head, back, and feet. He was transported to Caritas Medical Centre for medical treatment and was conscious upon arrival.
