The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) won seven gold, ten silver, and four bronze medals at the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva.

The gold medal-winning projects included the vehicle positioning system inside the tunnel, an acoustic detector for machine failures, an AI-powered Aqua-bot for Invasive Alien Species in Wetland, a Ball Type Rolling Robot for inspection and rescue, an Intelligent Environmental Monitoring and Safety Assessment System, an AI-Driven Railway Regulator Inspection Planning System and the Management of Fire-fighting Tools and Rescue Equipment on Fire Appliances.
Among the award-winning innovative technologies showcased at the Exhibition, several were successful cases facilitated through the E&M InnoPortal. This platform plays a crucial role in matching the government's technological needs with innovative solutions from the IT sector.
The international jury of specialists evaluated more than 1,000 inventions from nearly 40 countries and regions at the Exhibition, which was held in Geneva, Switzerland, from April 17 to 21.
