Two-vehicle collision leaves six injured in Tai Po

Six people were injured after a minibus crashed into a CLP truck in Tai Po on Sunday morning.

Around 10 am today, a Route 20P minibus driving along Tai Po Fung Yuen Road crashed into a CLP truck when it got near Mont Vert on 9 Fung Yuen Road, located in Tai Po.

The minibus's windshield was shattered, along with its left side being heavily damaged.

The drivers of the vehicles were not injured, but at least six minibus passengers were lightly injured due to the collision, having to wait for assistance while sitting on the roadside.

Paramedics were alerted to the scene and treated the injured passengers on site before taking them to Nethersole Hospital.

It is understood that no one helped the driver check the rear of the CLP truck when it was pulling out.
