12 cars towed over illegal parking offenses in Mong Kok

Mong Kok police officers towed away multiple vehicles Thursday in an operation targeting traffic offenses and maintaining road safety.

The Mong Kok police, in collaboration with the West Kowloon traffic unit, conducted a traffic day yesterday (Oct 19) and conducted patrols in various traffic black spots within the district.

The operation focused on traffic offenses related to illegal parking to ensure smooth traffic and to increase road users' sense of compliance with the law as well as traffic safety awareness.

The police also towed away 12 illegally parked vehicles disrupting and congesting the roads.

The police spokesman urges drivers to avoid illegal parking for convenience.

The Mong Kok police district has stated they will continue to enforce traffic laws to ensure smooth traffic and increase road users' road safety and law awareness.
