To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Make-A-Wish invited some of the city's top dining establishments to support the "WISH DISH" campaign that will debut next month.
Participating restaurants will present their exclusive Wish Dishes, with full or partial proceeds to be donated to the foundation to help make children's dreams come true.
That would include a brand new "Wish Upon A Chocolate Cake" dessert created by the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort's Food and Beverage team for charity sales. All the proceeds from each cake priced at HK$78 will be donated to Make-A-Wish.
The campaign also features the signature caffè sospeso brewed by the authentic Italian restaurant CRUST Italian in Wan Chai, with 100 percent of proceeds from each designated order of Wish Dish to go to the foundation.
Make-A-Wish Hong Kong was registered as a charity in 1998 and became a member of Make-A-Wish Foundation International, the world’s largest wish-granting organization with 40 affiliates serving over 50 countries and territories.
The foundation has realized over 550,000 wishes worldwide since 1980.
