Injured Mirror concert dancer Mo Li Kai-yin removed his urinary catheter after recovering the ability to urinate a year after the accident.
Mo, who is still hospitalized after the incident at the Hong Kong Coliseum in July of last year, revealed the good news yesterday (Jul 5) through his father.
He has regained a sense of urination and could removed his urinary catheter, although he will still have to press his bladder when using the restroom.
Mo's father Derek Li Shing-lam stated that his son could relieve bladder stones that had accumulated within his urinary tract, albeit with slight difficulty and is something he will still need to get accustomed to.
He added that Mo is set to receive magnetic resonance imaging to determine the next step of his recovery program.
