Three lanes on Tuen Mun Road blocked as two trucks collide

All three driving lanes on Tuen Mun Road were once blocked on Friday afternoon following an incident that involved a truck and a container truck. 

Around 1 pm today, the container truck was traveling along Tuen Mun Road in the fast lane on the right and abruptly made a left turn to avoid a broken-down vehicle in the front. It then crashed into a truck in the middle lane and pushed it to the slow lane on the left. 

The container truck the rammed into the soundproof barrier, occupying two lanes as it pulled over. With the small truck in the slow lane on the left, the two vehicles together blocked all three driving lanes. 

According to a video circulated online, a traffic cop was seen heading towards the two trucks to comprehend the situation. It was believed that he was handling the broken-down vehicle in the front at the time. 

No injuries were reported, and police investigation is still underway.
