According to a Thursday memorandum, the bureau developed the “National Security Education Summer Self-learning Materials” for schools’ use. The materials come in nine online forms, each providing seven questions for a week for students’ self-learning.
Students’ answers will be automatically checked, and instant feedback can be provided from the form.
The memorandum also said the bureau would stage the “Pat Pat Play” Online Competition from June 19 to 24 to enhance students’ understanding of the major national security domains through online games.
Schools can encourage all students to log into the “National Security Education Online Learning Platform” during the preliminary round.
Students can then participate in the different activities available, including “Daily Challenge,” “Good Article Sharing,” “Multimedia Resources,” and “Advancement Challenge” mini-games to accumulate points for schools.
The top 32 schools with the highest cumulative scores in the primary and secondary sections in the preliminary round will be eligible for the final. Each qualifying school can designate one student to participate in the final.
