(Video) Moving vehicle crushed by falling solar panel in Tuen Mun

A falling solar panel crushed a vehicle driving along Tsing Wun Road in Tuen Mun on Wednesday afternoon, with the driver luckily escaping the freak event uninjured.

It's thought that the wind may have blown off the solar panel from a nearby building, with the observatory recording strong gusts across the territory – up to about 100 kilometers in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Dashcam footage circulated online recorded the solar panel and debris falling from the sky just seconds before the car was crushed by the items, shattering its windshield.

Netizens joked online and said the incident looked like scenes from the movie series “Final Destination,” adding that the driver had escaped death.
