The Leisure & Cultural Services Department announced on Saturday that about 3,000 pots of flowers displayed during the flower show, which were still in good condition and suitable for replanting, would be distributed to the public from 10 am today.
Each person can get one pot on a first-come, first-served basis. All pots were given away before 11 am today, the government said.
Some 400,000 flowers were featured during the annual spectacular show after three years’ absence, with about 40,000 hydrangeas as the theme flower, and attracted thousands of visitors arriving for the fragrance.
