Starting from February 16, unvaccinated civil servants without valid medical proof will be denied access to workplaces and considered absent, facing disciplinary action, sources say.
All government employees must receive at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine before entering government buildings and work premises from February 16.
The only exception is given to those who are unfit to get jabbed, supported by a valid medical certificate; they will be issued a special pass.
An internal email says that those who fail to meet the requirements will be denied access to the workplace and considered absent, facing disciplinary action.
The government will also require unvaccinated employees to turn in their office cards the day before February 16, as it warns forced entry into offices could be subject to criminal prosecution.
