(Video) Underwear-sniffing man arrested in Kwun Tong

Police yesterday night arrested a 25-year-old man in Kwun Tong who allegedly sniffed a female’s underwear inside a Yuen Long alley, with the whole act caught on security camera.

The man, surnamed Ma, was arrested for outraging public decency, which carries a maximum penalty of imprisonment for seven years.

The security footage was uploaded onto Facebook, as the netizen who uploaded the footage called upon residents of Tin Sam Village to beware of a suspicious man stealing female underwear.

In the video taken on Sunday morning, the man urinated inside an alley, during which he took out the underpants and smelled it for five seconds.

It remains unclear if the man stole the underwear in the village or if he got it from somewhere else.

Netizens online even said they recognized the man as a basketball coach who works at at least four primary and secondary schools.
