Hong Kong reported four imported cases of Covid-19, marking another day with no local case.

The four patients include a 20-year-old woman arriving in Hong Kong from Greece. She was asymptomatic and was found carrying the N501Y and E484K mutant strain of the coronavirus. She had received her first dose of the BioNTech vaccine in the United Kingdom on July 1.
The other patients were two men and a woman, aged 8 to 33, from Turkey. All three of them were found carrying the mutant L452R strain. Two of them had received their first dose of the BioNTech vaccine in the United Kingdom in June and July respectively.
The Centre for Health Protection also announced that passenger flights from Istanbul operated by Turkish Airlines will be banned from landing in Hong Kong from tomorrow to August 17, after a passenger flight - TK083 operated by the airline on August 1 had four passengers confirmed to have Covid by arrival testing.
The city’s tally now stands at 11,995, along with 212 Covid related deaths.
The CHP said a total of 32 cases have been reported in the past 14 days and all of them are imported cases.
