The downtime allows work to connect the existing East Rail Line with the new Sha Tin link section at Hung Hom.
It is the third closure to continue the construction, and the remaining seven closures will be on the selected Sundays between May and October.
Each suspension date will be announced at least a week in advance.
The MTR calls for members of the public to continue their journeys by taking alternative
routes via the Tsuen Wan Line, Kwun Tong Line or West Rail Line.
Free shuttle buses will also run between Hung Hom and Kowloon Tong stations during the time of closure.
