A female worker at the Shek Wu Hui Jockey Club Outpatient Clinic in Sheung Shui has been diagnosed with the new coronavirus infection and is being treated in isolation in the North District Hospital. She is stable.

The clinic was closed for a day today for disinfection.
A spokesman for the North District Hospital said that a 57-year-old assistant in the clinic, had presented with a cough and sore throat since April 3 but did not have fever.
She did not have a travel history in the past 14 days and also did not have contact with confirmed virus patients
The employee underwent a deep throat saliva sample test at the clinic on April 7 and it was positive for the virus.
The employee is mainly responsible for the cleaning of the clinic and has been wearing personal protective equipment during work. So far, the clinic has no records of confirmed patients. The clinic is tracking the close contacts of the confirmed staff.
