People urged not to visit public hospitals for health certificates

The Hospital Authority urged people today not to visit accidental and emergency departments in public hospitals for health certificates.

The Thai government requests visitors from Hong Kong to present a health certificate stating that they have no risk of coronavirus before boarding.

Chief Manager of Quality and Standards, Dr Lau Ka-hin, said the HA serves people who are ill and does not issue certificates. People should go to private hospitals or private doctors, he said.
