Speaking at the Hong Kong Girl Guides Annual Parade and 110th Anniversary Kickoff Ceremony, Mak noted that last year’s policy address introduced the Young Talent Training Programme to create more pathways for youth development. She outlined four areas of focus, including providing more international opportunities to broaden young people’s global outlook.
Mak added that the government will strengthen the Financial Education Programme for young adults and launch new mediation workshops, with details to be announced later.
At the ceremony, over 100 Girl Guides flag parties and marching teams were reviewed by Regina Leung Tong Ching-yee, president of the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association.
