The death toll of the devastating fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po has claimed 151 lives, with 39 bodies pending identification.
Police said that about three-fourths units at Wang Sun House have been thoroughly searched, with no bodies have been discovered. Meanwhile, the searches in Wang Cheong House have made partial progress, with one-fourth of the area examined and eight bodies found.
The charred remains include both partial human remains and individuals who were turned to ashes in the blaze.
As of 4pm on Monday, around 30 individuals remain unaccounted for.
Authorities are actively conducting searches and investigations, expressing hope that they could conclude the operation within the next three weeks.
