A Kowloon Motor Bus vehicle crashed onto a central divider along New Clear Water Bay Road on Thursday morning, leaving dozens of passengers temporarily trapped inside but causing no injuries, according to police.
The incident occurred at around 8.03am near the Shun Lee Disciplined Services Quarters, when the bus veered into the stone median and came to a stop with its front section lifted and resting on top of the divider.

Initial reports said the bus was carrying a large number of passengers, many of whom were unable to exit until rescuers arrived.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene to evacuate those on board. No one was hurt, and all passengers were safely guided off the bus.
The crash forced the closure of several lanes in both directions near Lee On Lane, causing heavy congestion throughout the morning rush hour. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
