A man was attacked by a group of assailants in Sham Shui Po in the early hours of Wednesday.

Police received a report from a non-Chinese man around 3am stating he had been assaulted with a sharp object at the intersection of Nam Cheong Street and Tai Nan Street.
The victim, described as a Pakistani man holding a "recognizance form", was found with a forehead injury. He remained conscious while being transported to hospital for treatment.
According to information, the man was having a late-night meal with friends at a store on Tai Nan Street when six to seven people suddenly surrounded and attacked him with wooden sticks and bamboo poles. The assailants fled after the attack.
