Police responded to Sam Tung Uk Village at around 2pm after receiving a report from a man who claimed to have stabbed his father. Emergency services transported the injured father to Yan Chai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead
Initial investigations suggest that the altercation may have been triggered by an argument over Wi-Fi usage.

According to sources, the two men, who lived together in the grandmother's former home and were known to have a strained relationship, argued after the father was accused of using the son's Wi-Fi without permission.
It is understood that the situation escalated, leading the son to allegedly attack his father with a knife. Neighbours reported hearing raised voices from the unit prior to the incident.
