The search follows an investigation that uncovered a male suspect allegedly discarding suspicious bags after the woman was last seen entering a building at 152 Castle Peak Road with him but never seen leaving.
Around 10 am this morning, the operation began with workers using forklifts to excavate garbage, after which officers carried out evidence collection.
It is understood that the alleged victim, identified as Lisa, moved to Hong Kong from Vietnam 36 years ago and holds a Hong Kong ID card.
She lived in a flat in Mong Kok with a Vietnamese man and three children before her disappearance, while also selling beauty products online through Vietnamese-language promotional videos targeting Vietnamese customers.

The case is now being handled as a potential murder after the suspect was observed entering and exiting a building in Cheung Sha Wan multiple times.
The investigation revealed that he was also carrying several heavy garbage bags, which were later discarded in back alleys and street trash bins.
Meanwhile, police are searching for the non-Chinese male suspect, who holds a valid travel document and had rented a subdivided unit for HK$4,000. It has been confirmed that he was an acquaintance of the missing woman.
The suspect's 25-year-old girlfriend was arrested for allegedly assisting him in finding a hiding place.
Authorities have seized various items as evidence, including clothing, bottles of bleach and cleaning agents, a rice cooker, and pieces of wooden furniture. Among the seized items was also the handle of what appeared to be a Japanese-style sword.
