Xia Baolong meets HK business leaders on third day of inspection tour

Xia Baolong, Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, continued his inspection tour in Hong Kong on the third day, engaging with prominent business and chamber of commerce representatives.

The meeting took place at the Central Government Offices in Tamar, with key officials, including Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po, in attendance.

Several top executives from major corporations and business associations attended the gathering.

Notable figures included Sonia Cheng Chi-Man, executive director of New World Development; Stephen Ng Tin-hoi, chairman and managing director of Wharf Holdings; Haywood Cheung Tak-hay, president of the Hong Kong Gold Exchange; Wingco LO Kam-wing, president of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association; and Jonathan Choi Koon-shum, permanent honorary president of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce.

This marks Xia's third day in Hong Kong as part of his fact-finding mission, which has included meetings with government officials and various sectors to gain insights into the city's latest developments.
