Authentic Shanghai flavours pop-up at NUVA next week

The Nuva restaurant at AsiaWorld-Expo is set to feature a pop-up of the renowned Shanghai restaurant Lao Ji Shi next week, offering an experience of authentic homestyle Shanghainese cooking.

“NUVA x Lao Ji Shi: Shanghai Classics”will be available from 10th to 14th September, where guests can experience the flavours of old Shanghai while enjoying 180-degree sea views of Lantau.

NUVA has specially invited Chef Wang Jiajin, Head Chef of Lao Ji Shi’s Shenzhen branch, and his team to recreate authentic Shanghainese cuisine with carefully selected seasonal ingredients. 

Highlights include marinated roe crab in Chinese yellow wine, grilled halibut head with scallion, pork belly with abalone, signature salty chicken and smoked Chinese pomfret fish. These delightful options will be available at both lunch or dinner.
