Hong Kong stocks dip on Friday at midday

Hong Kong stocks dipped at midday on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index dropped 289 points, or 1.09 percent, to 26,337 points.

The half-day market turnover is HK$145 billion.

Tech gauge dropped 1.07 percent to 5,066 points.

In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index drifted 17.82 points, or 0.43 percent, to 4,162 points. The Shenzhen Stock Composite Exchange Composite Index slipped 0.94 percent to 15,495 points.
