Chinese e-book giant China Literature (0772) posted a 776 million yuan (HK$874 million) net loss last year, with losses surging 270.9 percent year-on-year, according to a filing released on Tuesday.
No final dividends will be paid, said the company.
This Tencent-backed (0700) company's adjusted profit attributable to equity holders of the company fell 24.8 percent to 860 million yuan.
Besides, it recorded 7.37 billion yuan in revenue, a year-on-year decrease of 9.3 percent.
Additionally, the company has released nearly 1,000 AI-animated dramas since the second half of 2025, with over 100 surpassing 10 million views and 12 exceeding 100 million views.

The company said that it expects the synergy between intellectual property and artificial intelligence will continue to power the industry forward and the "IP + AI" ecosystem will serve as a scalable engine that amplifies content value and drives its long-term growth.
