The Buildings Department approved 10 building plans in November last year, including the 63 Macdonnell Road and 38B Kennedy Road projects of Henderson Land Development (0012), and the Area 10 of Fanling North development of Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016).
The department approved three on Hong Kong Island, three in Kowloon, and four in the New Territories. Of the approved plans, six were for apartment and apartment/commercial developments, two were for factory and industrial developments, and two were for community services developments.
In Mid-Levels, the 63 Macdonnell Road development is planned to build one five-story single family house, with a gross floor area of 27,308 square feet, while the 38B Kennedy Road project will construct a 19-floor apartment.
The Area 10 in Fanling North development featured two 16-floor apartments, with a gross floor area of nearly 390,000 sq ft.
Besides, the department also issued 14 occupation permits, with five on Hong Kong Island, five in Kowloon, and four in the New Territories, of which the gross floor area for domestic use was 39,753 square meters involving 1,616 units.
