Bank of China Hong Kong (2388) said its number of new share subscriptions skyrocketed 7 times year-on-year in the first quarter amid the reinvigorated new listing market.
To welcome the coming mega initial public offerings including battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology, BOCHK is launching a lucky draw for investors who book new shares via its mobile banking application or make margin financing through the bank by May 31. The winners could be awarded up to 5,000 units of Tracker Fund of Hong Kong (2800).
BOCHK also said it will waive the handling fees for retail investors who make a subscription via the mobile banking app.
