The Bank of East Asia (0023) said the existing employment contract of David Li Kwok-po as executive chairman has been extended for another three years.
His contract will expire in June 2028, according to a filing on Friday.
Vitasoy International's (0345) chair Winston Lo Yau-lai and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial's honorary advisor Masayuki Oku have both retired as non-executive directors of the bank, the filing said.
Oku has also ceased to be a member of the nomination committee but has been appointed as a special advisor to the board, the lender said.
Lo was appointed a director in 2000 and has served the bank for 25 years while Oku was appointed a director in 2015 and has served the bank for 10 years, BEA said.
The two decided to step down to pursue other commitments, the bank added.
