BOCI-Prudential Asset Management to enrich the types of its MPF products

BOCI-Prudential Asset Management chief executive Dick Lee said the company will continue to enrich the types of MPF products, including post-retirement investment and A-share investment products. 

It also revealed that existing products are currently subject to regulatory approval and expect to be launched on the market in the first half of this year. 

Prior to this, Manulife launched its first MPF retirement income fund in September last year.

According to a BOC-Prudential survey, Hong Kong people are more active in managing their MPF during the period of the Covid-19. 85 percent of the respondents said that they are aware of the investment portfolio and total accumulated equity of all MPF accounts. Nearly half of the respondents checked the MPF account balance four or more times, and about one-fifth of the respondents even checked more than ten times last year.
