As the 2025-2026 academic year commences, there is a great sense of joy and celebration at Christian Alliance International School (CAIS).
During the summer holiday, CAIS students excelled in international competitions and music festivals, including the school choir’s debut at the Musikverein Wien where CAIS was awarded 1st Place with Outstanding Success at the prestigious Summa Cum Laude Festival. In addition, the CAIS Class of 2025 saw exceptional IB Diploma results and university acceptances. Marking the third cohort since the school’s accreditation as an IB World School in 2020, the IB results this year included two students receiving the maximum score of 45 points, an average score of 37.3 points, and a 100% pass rate. Students have received offers from distinguished universities and institutions around the world.
In this new school year, leadership transitions at CAIS further strengthen its capacity to grow and build upon this success. Daniel Schick, formerly high school principal, assumes the role of Head of School of CAIS. Trained as an English teacher in Canada, Schick has taught internationally for over two decades, and in Hong Kong since 2008. He says, “Our focus at CAIS is on producing graduates who are articulate, confident, compassionate, and discerning young men and women that will effect positive change in society.” He adds, “This is why we are very proud of our alumni that have become leaders in future-ready and innovative professions all around the world.”
As the new Head of School, Schick emphasizes that “From the roots to the fruits of our school, we focus on the values of wisdom, integrity, love, service, and community. These root values are nourished in a classroom learning environment that is warm and welcoming, which encourages the formation of strong relationships, a sense of belonging, and the enjoyment of learning.”
CAIS offers three education pathways for students, including the Alberta (Canada) curriculum, IB Diploma Programme, and Advanced Placement courses. Together, these options provide a robust and diverse range of opportunities to meet the needs of students. Schick says, “We are very proud to offer three world-class curricula in our academic programming. The fruits are evident in our graduates who are not only accepted into top universities and programs around the world, but moreover that a graduate of CAIS is a young man or woman of integrity, equipped with a humble confidence to serve, lead, and bless society.”
A Canadian-curriculum international school, CAIS was awarded the highest Tier 1 accreditation from the Alberta Education (Canada), recognizing its excellence as a leading-edge school. Through its various educational pathways, CAIS offers a Christian-based learning environment for students throughout its preparatory, lower and upper primary, and secondary sections.
