The inaugural outdoor coffee festival, COFFEE HK x Tokyo Coffee Festival @West K, held at the Art Park in West Kowloon District, has been a resounding success as it attracts over 33,000 coffee lovers in its first three days with a variety of hand-brewed coffee and coffee products.
As the festival is concluding on Monday(Apr 21), the organizer advised the public to consider visiting close to dusk to avoid the crowds.
Due to the overwhelming response from coffee enthusiasts, the organizer reminded attendees that the admission tickets must be purchased online in advance as no on-site tickets will be available.
The event marks the first collaboration with the acclaimed Tokyo Coffee Festival, featuring over ten popular Japanese coffee brands alongside over twenty local brands.
The event also collaborates with the viral “Chill Guy” meme to encourage visitors to take a break from their lives by enjoying every sip of coffee.
Spanning the entire four-day Easter holiday, the coffee festival offers over 100 international and unique coffee shops, workshops, market stalls, music, pet activities, and family-friendly events to celebrate coffee culture and provide relaxing moments.
Exhibitors from Japan, the Greater Bay Area, and local businesses have expressed excitement with the unexpected sales, stating that products are in strong demand.
Meanwhile, coffee professionals from various regions are thrilled to exchange coffee culture and brewing techniques with one another.
The event runs from 11am to 8pm, with admission ticket sales ending at 7.30pm.
