The St. Joseph's College Parent-Teacher Association organized a seminar on Saturday (Mar 29) to celebrate its 150th anniversary, attracting numerous alumni, teachers, and students.
The event invited distinguished alumni, including historians, medical experts, education scholars, artists, and sports champions, to reflect on the college's rich history and showcase its spirit of legacy.
The guest speakers included Derek Chan, Chairman of the St. Joseph's College Parent-Teacher Association; Joseph Ting Sun-pao and former Chief Curator of the Hong Kong Museum of History.
Renowned artist Jan Lamb Hoi-fung, film director Jack Ng Wai-lun, and Senior Counsel Paul Shieh Wing-tai also joined the seminar.
The speakers shared personal perspectives on the school's people, places, and events, highlighting the profound impact of the school's education.
The seminar wrapped up with an interactive session hosted by former principal Ms. Wong Yuen-fan, with a question-and-answer session between guests and the audience.
In addition, Principal Kwok Tik-man expressed gratitude to all participants, emphasizing that the seminar was not merely a retrospective but a foundation for envisioning an even brighter future for the school.
