Local fans of the popular K-pop girl group NJZ (formerly known as NewJeans), which is set to make their debut performance in Hong Kong at ComplexCon under the new group name, reported encountering issues with ticket purchases through Cityline as they receive tickets for a different date which does not coincide with NJZ's performance.

One of the fans recounted his experience on Threads, revealing after spending half an hour striving to grab a priority booking ticket for the date of NJZ's performance at the 3-day event, only to find that the ticket date had changed from March 23 to March 22.
He suspected it was due to a ticketing system error, expressing sadness and disappointment after calling the Cityline hotline to no avail.
Many fans have echoed similar experiences, with posts complaining about the date of their tickets being altered to March 21 after payment, which featured performances of other groups.
Some even tagged or left a message under the organizer's Instagram account "complexchinese" for assistance.
The Consumer Council said it has received nine complaints, involving HK$40,000, as of 5pm on Tuesday. The Council is in touch with both the ticketing platform and the event organizer for further action.
ComplexCon said they have also contacted Cityline and asked for a follow-up regarding the issue.
In response, Cityline issued a statement on its Website on Tuesday (Feb 11), stating the company had reviewed the relevant transaction records with system logs but found no irregularities.
Cityline assured customers that they will carefully investigate each case following email inquiries that included detailed transaction information or a copy of the confirmation email.
In light of the incident, ComplexCon issued a statement on Tuesday, highlighting that general sales of tickets will be available for purchase in several stages.
The first stage, with tickets for March 23 featuring NJZ as the headliner, will be sold separately and available in the first phase starting at 4pm on Wednesday (Feb 12), simultaneously on Trip.com, Cityline, Maoyan, and Ctrip.
"No other ComplexCon tickets will be available for purchase tomorrow," the statement wrote. It also mentioned that information regarding public sale dates for other tickets will be shared at a later time.
