Hongkongers will be feeling the chill as the temperature could dip to as low as nine degrees Celsius in the urban areas on Sunday, and even lower in the New Territories.

Temperatures in the urban areas this morning dropped to around 11 degrees, with the New Territories being two to three degrees lower.
Tai Mo Shan, the city’s highest peak, recorded a minimum temperature of 1.4 degrees in the early morning. Other areas, including Ta Kwu Ling and Lau Fau Shan, fell below 10 degrees.
The Observatory said the strong northeasterly monsoon brought cold weather to Guangdong this morning.
The minimum temperature in urban areas tomorrow will be around 10 degrees. Meanwhile, Monday morning will still be chilly, with temperatures hovering around 12 degrees.
By Tuesday, an easterly airstream will replace the monsoon, leading to a gradual temperature increase, increased cloud cover, and humid weather.
