A number of Hong Kong travelers departed for South Korea on Wednesday as scheduled, although the turmoil from martial law in the country stopped just hours before their departure.

The 17 flights from Hong Kong to Seoul set for today will operate as planned.
A traveler surnamed Law stated that she and her family are not worried about the political crisis in South Korea as the situation was quickly defused.
She learned from the news that there were some demonstrations early in the morning and stated that they would stay in hotels if necessary to minimize potential risks.
Some noted that their primary concern is the tour itineraries may be affected by the incident.
"There shouldn't be any issues. The main concern stems from congressional and political chaos, but that shouldn't significantly impact the daily life, making it fine for ordianry tourists," said a traveler surnamed Ma.
