A series of events and promotions will be launched by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) to celebrate the National Day Golden Week, with the most eye-catching offer including a handout of HK$10 million in credits to visitors for ride-hailing service in the city.

The Board partnered with mainland Amap to provide ride-hailing service credits for visitors to explore various tourism hotspots in Hong Kong.
From today to October 7, visitors can use the Amap app to collect HK$180 in cash credits for ride-hailing, totaling over HK$10 million, and enjoy a 20 percent discount on fares.
The HKTB will sponsor Hong Kong Tramways to present a Free Tram Ride Day on National Day, and the Temple Street night market will offer 25 percent off discounts from October 1 to 7 on selected foods.
Apart from that, a "Galloping Horses" drone show will be held at Wan Chai waterfront on September 28 showcasing local characteristics and elements celebrating the National Day, recreating works by Chinese painting master Xu Beihong.
Throughout the entire month of October, a special edition of "A Symphony of Lights" will be presented with enhanced lighting effects and dynamic patterns displayed on building screens along Victoria Harbour.
Additionally, some buildings participating in the show will include rooftop pyrotechnics on October 26.
The Tourism Commission is set to showcase the "New Generation National Day Chorus" on September 30, featuring a drone show, a choir performance, and various presentations by youth organizations.
