The Housing Authority announced on Thursday that selections for the Sale of Green Form Subsidised Home Ownership Scheme (GSH) Flats 2023 will commence on September 19.
Eligible applicants will be invited in batches to select flats for sale under GSH 2023 according to their priority within the respective application category.
The selections will take place at the designated GSH Sales Office in Kwun Tong.
The project will provide a total of 2,359 flats from the new GSH development, Lai Yuet Court in Cheung Sha Wan, with saleable areas ranging from about 280 square feet to about 646 square feet.
In addition to about 300 unsold or rescinded flats from Kai Chuen Court in Diamond Hill sold under GSH 2020/21, as well as Ko Wang Court in Yau Tong and Kam Pak Court in Ma On Shan sold under GSH 2022, there will also be a new batch of about 350 recovered Tenants Purchase Scheme (TPS) flats.
During the application period, the Housing Authority received approximately 56,000 applications for GSH 2023.
The applications were more than 23 times oversubscribed. The flats, priced between HK$1.54 million and HK$4.61 million, were offered at 48 percent below market prices.
