Special transport arrangements as Talim nears Hong Kong

Special transport arrangements are currently in place as severe tropical storm Talim approaches.

Due to the hoisting of Strong Wind Signal No. 3, the following ferry service(s) will be or have been suspended:

Fortune Ferry Company Limited
-Between Tuen Mun, Tung Chung, Sha Lo Wan and Tai O

Peng Chau Kaito Limited
-Between Discovery Bay and Mui Wo

Tsui Wah Ferry Service (H. K. ) Limited
-Between Aberdeen and Po Toi Island
-Between Wong Shek, Wan Tsai and Chek Keng
-Between Ma Liu Shui and Tap Mun
-Between Ma Liu Shui and Tung Ping Chau
-Between Wong Shek and Tap Mun

Best Sonic Industrial Limited
-Between Ma Liu Shui and Lai Chi Wo : Suspended

Leung Kee Kaito
-Between Sai Wan Ho and Tung Lung Island : Suspended

The Transportation Department announced that the Cross Bay Bridge's cycle track and footpath will be closed soon due to high wind.

Separately, Hong Kong Airlines announced that two of its flights traveling between Hong Kong and Haikou on Monday (Jul 17) will be canceled. The affected flights are HX107 from Hong Kong to Haikou and HX 108 from Haikou to Hong Kong.

The airline advised passengers to check the latest flight status at its official website before leaving for the airport.
