Consumers are more ready to spend in the wake of the 2022 Consumption Voucher Scheme Phase II, with three of Sino Group’s major shopping malls – Tmtplaza, Olympian City and Citywalk – recording a total of over 880,000 visitors yesterday.
"The local food and beverage industry and the retail industry are gradually recovering,” says Bella Chhoa, Director – Asset Management of Sino Group. “Consumption sentiment is expected to remain stable in the second half of the year with an increase of 10 percent in the number of shoppers and turnover of Sino Group’s three major shopping malls in the third quarter.”
Riding on this positive sentiment and giving the local economy a boost, Sino Group shopping malls has partnered with Octopus Card to launch "Octopus Spending Reward" at Tmtplaza, Olympian City, Citywalk, China Hong Kong City, Gold Coast Shopping Mall, Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre, and Island Resort Mall.
In the month of August, customers who spend HK$300 or above per transaction with their Octopus Card at designated merchants will receive HK$30 S cash coupons or a set of HK$30 food cash coupons.
In addition, from now until 14 August, customers who participate in the "Klook Happy Map" activity held at Citywalk can get a HK$40 Klook coupon code, which can be used to purchase HK$200 S cash coupons at a 20% discount in 30 designated restaurants Citywalk, Tmtplaza and Olympian City.
What’s more, "ZA Million Draw Carnival", jointly organized with Hong Kong’s first virtual bank ZA Bank, will be giving out fabulous prizes at Tmtplaza and Olympian City.
