Seven buildings including three in Tuen Mun were locked down on Saturday over Covid-positive sewage samples.

The seven buildings are Oi Yee House and Oi Lok House, Yau Oi Estate and Block 1, Tsui Ning Garden in Tuen Mun; Wai Tung House, Tung Tau (II) Estate and Nga Yuen House, Chuk Yuen South Estate in Wong Tai Sin; Shun Man House, Oi Man Estate in Ho Man Tin; and Yin Tat House, On Tat Estate in Kwun Tong.
The lockdowns are expected to be lifted around noon to 1pm on Sunday (Mar 13).
Residents of these seven buildings must undergo compulsory testing by tonight between 8pm and 10pm.
The compulsory testing requirement also applies to citizens who had been to these seven buildings for more than two hours between February 27 and today (Mar 12). They must take the Covid tests by Monday (Mar 14).
As a mutant strain is involved, vaccinated citizens and those who recently tested negative must also undergo testing.
Exemption will only be granted to those who tested positive for Covid-19 on or after December 31, 2021.
