Hong Kong added 120 confirmed Covid-19 cases on Saturday, and 20 more residents of Kwai Chung Estate tested positive for the coronavirus.

Thirty-four cases were imported from overseas, while 86 were local cases. Among the local cases, 11 were reported as unknown source cases, while the rest were linked to previous cases.
Chuang Shuk-kwan from the Centre for Health Protection also reported about 70 preliminary positive cases.
At Kwai Chung Estate, the infection tally stood at 416. Yat Kwai House saw 11 more cases, while five were reported at Ying Kwai House. Nga Kwai House detected two more cases, and Ha Kwai House added one more case.
One more staffer of Cape Collinson Crematorium in Chai Wan tested positive following the infection of a staffer who lives in Cheung Bor House at Choi Wan (I) Estate. Four more students from classes 1B, 3B, 5C, and 5D of HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No.3 Secondary School also tested positive.
A citizen who visited the Little Boss pet shop in Mong Kok on January 16 tested positive and carried the L452R mutant strain, while six out of 34 environmental samples collected at the shop returned positive.
Two workers of Hong Kong Day in Far East Finance Centre in Admiralty were listed local cases. One of them lives in Cheung Bor House at Choi Wan (I) Estate.
Chuang suspected the infections of two airport workers to be import-related cases. One is a 24-year-old man whose job is to arrange seats for people arriving in Hong Kong. He lives in Block E of Golden Lion Garden in Tai Wai and tested positive for the virus on Thursday.
Another is a 54-year-old man who cleans the toilets used by returnees. He lives in Ching Yat House at Yat Tung(I) Estate in Tung Chung.
As for the untraceable cases, Chuang said two cases carried the Delta variant, while eight cases carried the Omicron variant. The test results for the remaining case have yet to be confirmed.
The two patients who carried the Delta variant live in Block 2 of Hsin Kuang Centre in Wong Tai Sin and Lai Tat House at On Tat Estate in Sau Mau Ping. The latter works as a cleaner in Choi Wan Commercial Complex in Choi Hung.
Chuang continued that the other unknown source cases were detected at Fung Yi Street in To Kwa Wan, New Kwai Fong Gardens in Kwai Chung, Laguna City in Lam Tin, and Vista Paradiso in Ma On Shan.
Chuang also reported that although the two infected customers who had been to Hakka Cuisine in Lions Rise Mall in Wong Tai Sin were seated far away from each other, the cross-infection suspectedly occurred when they paid their bills at the same time.
