Mei Foo residential block locked down

A block at Mei Foo Sun Cheun has been locked down on Monday night after a resident tested positive of Covid-19.

The lock down which started from 7pm applied to 5-7 Nassau Street, Mei Foo Sun Chuen Phase 5, Mei Foo.

A preliminary tested positive case who has lived in the building was detected today, and the test result involved a mutant strain. The risk of infection in the relevant area is assessed to be likely higher.

Residents were asked to undergo testing before midnight. The government aims to lift the lock down at about 7am Tuesday (January 11).
