The trial for the 63-year-old man, who was arrested on Thursday for being involved in the Yuen Long mob attack was adjourned to next Thursday.

According to the prosecution, the defendant Ching Wai-ming left Hong Kong on June 26, and was arrested by the police on Thursday in Tin Shui Wai as he returned to the city through the Shenzhen Bay Port.
Officers confiscated his phone and his belt when making the arrest.
He was charged with one count of taking part in a riot and one count of conspiracy to wound others with intent at Yuen Long MTR station on July 21, 2019.
Ching appeared in Sha Tin Magistrates' Courts this morning and he needed not to make a plea yet. The court has then adjourned the hearing to next Thursday in Fanling Magistrates' Courts.
He didn't apply for bail and he will be remanded until then.
