Around five diners had been trapped inside a Tsim Sha Tsui restaurant after authorities put Tsim Sha Tsui Mansion on Nathan Road under lockdown at 8.30pm yesterday, requiring everyone to stay inside their premises.
The government has found no one tested positive with around 500 people being tested, the lockdown was completed at around 7am today.
A man, surnamed Yip, told reporters as he leaves the building this morning that he and his girlfriend were dining at a restaurant yesterday night when police officers came inside the restaurant, ordering everyone not to leave until further notice.
“Around five diners including us were forced to spend the night inside the restaurant, it is so frustrating, but well, there is nothing we can do,” said Yip.
