A social housing project in Sham Shui Po built using containers will welcome 89 families.

The transitional homes project on Nam Cheong Street in Sham Shui Po, is the first to be undertaken by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service.
This will be temporary home for those living in subdivided units waiting for public housing for three years.
Units range in size between 130 and 293 square feet. The lease term is two years.
There are units for one occupant, two people and three people, as well as accessible units at ground floor in the one-block project. Each unit has a separate toilet and bathroom with electric water heater, open kitchen with electric cooker.
The project was proposed by Hong Kong Council of Social Service and sponsored by Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. Tung Wah Group of Hospitals is the service operator.
